Counter stools can be difficult items to buy.

There are so many brands, styles, colors and price ranges to choose from.  And if you have never made this purchase before, you may not know what exactly to look for and how to distinguish between the many choices.  Also, if you are shopping from a catalogue, you may be unsure of how the counter stools will actually look when they get to your home.  There are a few things to consider when making your final decision.  First, price is often a good indicator of quality.  If you settle for something cheap, you can end up with poorly assembled, cheap looking counter stools.  Make sure you review the materials used in the counter stools you’re considering and ask the seller about any warranties that may apply.  Another consideration should be design, including style and color.  It is difficult to choose the right style when all you have available is a photograph of the product.  Ask the seller if they have sample of paint and fabrics they can send to you so you can make sure the match is right.  Also make sure to measure your space carefully to ensure that the counter stools will be the correct size.  You can also ask the seller if they have promotional photographs that show the stools in a home setting.  Taking these few steps can save you a lot of hassle in having to return your counter stools or buy new ones within a couple of years.
