The heart of nearly every home is the kitchen. It is the first room we ask about when looking at a new home and the room we typically end our tour with. It is where the family gathers every morning and usually where they say their goodnights every evening. We find ourselves in the kitchen at parties, gathered in the warmth and having more fun than we did down the hall in the formal dining room. Our kitchen furniture will probably be used far more often than that in the dining room and while it should certainly be attractive, it should also be sturdy as well. Kitchen furniture should be easy to care for, strong enough to take daily use and still pleasing to the eye that will be looking at them on a daily basis.
