When looking for pot racks, consider the type and size of the pots that you will be hanging from them. If you are hanging a collection of copper pans, the rack can be of almost any type of material, however if you have cast iron or over sized pans to hang then you might want to use a stronger, more durable rack. Pot racks should also blend in with the kitchen or at least serve to complement it in some way. Black racks are good in nearly every type of kitchen, as are the strong wired varieties that are barely noticeable at all.
