Most people think of a buffet as a type of dining, but it’s also a type of furniture. Here are the two basic kinds of buffet furniture.
• Hutch – This is the larger of the two and it has cabinets on the bottom of it. It holds items such as knickknacks or China.
• Tables – The second type of furniture is tables. It’s the smallest type of furniture and doesn’t have much space or storage in it.
Even though it’s not completely different, the hutches and the tables are sometimes called sideboards, so don’t get confused if you hear that term.
