Old Fashioned Organization in Your Kitchen With Pot Racks

by EVS Blog Admin on November 13, 2007

No matter if you have a dinky little kitchen with barely enough room to turn around in your little apartment or you have a state of the art spacious kitchen with all the modern accouterments, it can always seen that you never have enough cabinet space.

One thing you can do is to do a little organization within your cabinets. First of all put like items together. Take your mixes, your flours, your sugars and other items and put them together. Next group together your spices and other oils. Put other like items together and then you’ll be able to know at a glance if you really need another bottle of extra virgin olive oil or not. Then go through expiration dates on your items and throw away expired items. You’ll be amazed at how much expired food items you’ve collected.

Next, get out your pots and pans. This move alone will free up an enormous amount of cabinet space. Instead of stacking them back up in your cabinet, invest in a pot rack and you can hang your pots and pans you use most up and it will make a real decorative touch to your kitchen.

Get the space you need and only spend a little time doing it. Once you get organized and cut down on the unnecessary clutter on your counters and in your cabinets, you’ll really enjoy your “new” spacious feeling kitchen space!
